IT Support Technician – Pan-European Satellite Company

We are recruiting for a pan-European aerospace client specialising in satellite systems and services .

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and log calls, emails and direct support requests from users in Toulouse and Madrid. Your responsibilities will include:

- Diagnose and resolve incidents involving users, information systems, tools, laptops and other IT assets.
- Provide users with day-to-day support for IT equipment and services.
- Respond to customer requests effectively and communicate clearly throughout the resolution process.
- Install, configure and update IT equipment, and manage related issues, including computers, hardware, software, printers and videoconferencing equipment.
- Manage access to information systems in accordance with security rules and policies.
- Coordinate the allocation and recovery of IT equipment for employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Coordinate repairs with third-party service providers for systems covered by maintenance agreements.




- Support application production launches and the operation of applications hosted within the information system.
- Maintain operational documentation and IT performance indicators.
- Keep the asset management tool up to date.
- Update operational documentation, the IT knowledge base and the wiki.
- Carry out IT asset inventories.
- Receive deliveries and register new IT equipment.
- Set up and organise cabling for computers and other IT equipment.

Required Qualifications:

- At least one year of experience in a similar position.
- B2 level of English or higher.
- Strong customer-service orientation.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments and a solid understanding of networking.
- Proactive and quality-focused approach.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Motivation to work on demanding technical and engineering challenges.

Technical Requirements: The expected proficiency levels for this role across the main IT domains are listed below:

- Operating Systems: Desktop operating systems, including Windows 10/11. Required level: Intermediate–Advanced.
- IT Infrastructure: IT infrastructure services, including Active Directory and Exchange 2022. Required level: Intermediate–Advanced.
- Virtualisation:



Virtual machines used to host IT and security services or business applications, including VMware vSphere 8.x hypervisor and Nutanix AHV. Required level: Intermediate–Advanced.
- Monitoring / Backup / ITSM: Applications and technologies used for information-system monitoring, backup and service management, including Centreon EMS, Veeam and GLPI. Required level: Advanced.
- User Tools & Security: Productivity, collaboration and endpoint-security tools, including Microsoft 365, Teams and ESET Antivirus. Required level: Advanced.
- Networking: Network equipment and connectivity, including Alcatel, Cisco and Aruba. Required level: Intermediate.
- Videoconferencing: Videoconferencing systems and equipment, including Poly and ClickShare. Required level: Working knowledge.
