Build the Linux platform powering Schneider Electric’s Intelligent Edge
Join Schneider Electric’s Intelligent Edge teams and play a key role in shaping the embedded Linux foundation behind next‑generation industrial and IoT solutions deployed at global scale.
We are looking for a Yocto / Embedded Linux Developer to help design, evolve, and industrialize a high‑impact embedded Linux distribution, running on a wide range of hardware platforms and used across Schneider Electric products worldwide.
This is a hands‑on technical role on a strategic software platform, combining low‑level Linux expertise, automation, and strong engineering practices.
Strengthen and scale the CI/CD pipeline to support reliable, industrial‑grade deliveries
Design and maintain automated test infrastructures,



including LAVA‑based validation
Collaborate closely with product, system, architecture, and quality teams
Drive high standards for software quality, security, and long‑term maintainability
3+ years of experience in Embedded Linux / Yocto development and C
~ Proven expertise in Yocto Project, BSP integration, and Linux build systems
~ Strong hands‑on experience with Git/GitHub, Shell scripting, and Python
~ A strong engineering mindset with a focus on automation and quality
~ 3 days from the office in Barcelona are required
