As Principal Product Designer, you set design strategy across multiple product areas, partnering with C-suite and senior leaders to steer Dow Jones toward scalable, design-driven success. You’ll shape patterns and standards that span platforms, influence company direction, and mentor senior designers while representing Dow Jones at industry events. This is a high-visibility, transformational role at scale that combines design leadership with strategic business impact.

You will help the company stay ahead of industry changes through innovative design practices.

- Develop and mentor senior design talent across product areas and advise executives on design leadership.

Responsabilidades

- 10+ years of product design experience with strategy-setting for multi-product organizations.
- Portfolio showing strategic impact, conflict resolution between strategies, and multi-year business value.
- Proven track record with C-level executives and influencing company-wide decisions through design leadership.
- Experience setting design strategy for multiple product areas with strong platform thinking and standardization.
- Thought leadership through speaking, publications, or recognized industry contributions.
- Experience solving unprecedented challenges with new methods or frameworks.
- Strong business acumen linking design to long-term outcomes, market dynamics, and competition.
- Experience building design capabilities at scale, including governance and talent development.
- Ability to navigate organizational complexity across units, geographies, and cultures. xugodme
