In this role you will lead technical studies and guide engineering decisions for complex HVDC projects, working across international teams from tender to commissioning. You help ensure reliable, high-performing HVDC solutions while contributing to the growth of a new Spanish engineering capability. Compensaciones / Ventajas

- Lead power system studies and dynamic simulations for HVDC transmission projects
- Drive technical decisions on control strategies and system performance throughout project execution
- Act as technical reference within project teams and mentor less experienced engineers
- Participate in customer discussions, technical reviews, factory tests,



and commissioning activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary international teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery
- Contribute to developing and maturing engineering practices and establish the new Spanish engineering team

Responsabilidades

- Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Engineering Physics or related discipline
- Solid experience in power system studies, xugodme HVDC, FACTS, grid integration or similar complex electrical environments
- Strong knowledge of PSCAD, PSSE, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Matlab, ETAP or equivalents
- Proven ability to work independently, lead technical activities and manage complex engineering challenges
- Fluent English; Spanish valued, Swedish a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills, with a proactive approach
