Experteer Overview
As a Cloud Platform Engineer at Talan, you will design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure-based cloud infrastructure. You’ll work with DevOps, Security, and App teams to automate provisioning, enforce governance, and improve developer experience. The role emphasizes IaC, automation, and reliable platforms in enterprise settings. You will contribute to self-service capabilities and maintain strong security and compliance standards, joining a integral, cross-functional team with a focus on impactful, future-ready solutions.

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure
• Develop and manage IaC with Terraform for modular deployments
• Administer HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Define and enhance the Cloud Service Catalogue for self-service access
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective cloud solutions
• Ensure security, governance, and regulatory compliance of cloud platforms
• Maintain architectural standards and operational procedures
• Provide L3 support for cloud platform incidents and coordinate with vendors
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, monitoring, reliability, and efficiency
• Build reusable Terraform modules for Azure provisioning
• Implement Azure governance using Azure AD, RBAC, and native IAM capabilities
• Configure and manage Vault for cross-environment secrets management




• Review infrastructure changes for security and engineering best practices
• Support platform upgrades, maintenance, and patching with minimal disruption
• Monitor performance and implement reliability improvements
• Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge sharing

Responsabilidades
• Strong hands-on experience managing and automating Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform and IaC best practices
• Experience administering HashiCorp Vault
• Experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of Azure networking, identity, security, and governance services
• Experience with service catalogs and self-service platform capabilities
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps and secure cloud architecture
• Proven experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise cloud platforms in regulated environments
• Experience integrating secrets management into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience developing reusable Terraform modules for large-scale deployments
• Experience improving developer productivity through automation and self-service platforms
• Strong collaboration across infra, security, and development teams
