In this role you will lead the Accounts Payable function for Rakuten TV, ensuring accurate, timely processing of high-volume invoices and employee expenses. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support month-end close, while driving process improvements in the procure-to-pay cycle. You will mentor a Junior AP member and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold accuracy and efficiency.

This position offers an opportunity to shape AP operations in a fast-growing streaming business and partner with banking and procurement systems.

Compensaciones / Ventajas

- Oversee high-volume vendor invoice processing, including GL review, PO matching, approvals, and discrepancy resolution
- Manage employee expense reports ensuring policy adherence
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships and address inquiries
- Assist with month-end/year-end closing including accruals and expense recording
- Perform complex reconciliations (sub-ledger to GL,



accrued expense, vendor statements, prepaids) and investigate reconciling items
- Identify bottlenecks in P2P process and drive optimization and system improvements
- Prepare, review, and upload payments to banking platforms; maintain banking relationships and signatory controls
- Lead, mentor, and develop a Junior AP team member; provide training and performance support
- Assist with budget preparation and support audits
- Stay updated on AP best practices and take on additional xugodme duties as assigned

Responsabilidades

- 5+ years in Accounts Payable with at least 2 years in a senior/lead role
- Experience with complex accounts reconciliations
- Strong understanding of end-to-end P2P process
- Proven track record of process improvements or automation initiatives (preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics BC preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with procurement tools (preferred)
