Company: Marine Surveyor (new construction)
The purpose of this role is to Survey for shipbuilding projects in accordance with the applicable international standards and class rules set, using procedures, experience, and knowledge appropriate for the mentioned aspects, and to provide technical support to our clients.
The successful candidate would be initially based at the LR Cadiz Office, Spain, to attend the ongoing projects. Dependant on workload and individual circumstances, temporary or permanent relocation to alternative working locations within Spain might be required later.
Working as a member of the Spain New Construction Team carrying out new construction surveys against a range of Class Rules and statutory codes as directed by the Senior Project Manager.
Working as a member of the service delivery team in Cadiz carrying out surveys of equipment and components at manufacturers works and existing ship surveys against a range of Class Rules and statutory codes as directed by Cadiz office team leader. This would be a secondary role during the new building projects, and later might be a main role, depending on the office workload.
