As a Technical Support u0026amp; Data Operations Engineer at Factorial, you diagnose and fix bugs directly in the codebase to stabilize the product. You bridge Customer Experience and Core Engineering, then handle data integrations, migrations, and ETL tasks to ensure clean, reliable data flows. You also identify automation opportunities to reduce repetitive work while safeguarding sensitive HR data.

This role combines development and operational data responsibilities to support a scalable SaaS platform.

- Bug hunting and fixing in the codebase to address customer issues
- Code maintenance in Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, with Python scripts and Java data tooling when needed
- Data operations and entry for accurate customer configurations and data handling
- Design and execute ETL workflows and migrations from legacy systems into the SaaS platform
- Identify repetitive tasks and build automation or low-code tooling to improve efficiency




- Handle sensitive HR and payroll data with high discretion and security
- Collaborate with internal customer-facing teams, translating technical issues into clear updates

Responsabilidades

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 1–2+ years of experience with Ruby (Rails) and TypeScript
- Solid Python scripting experience for data manipulation or automation
- Familiarity with Java for internal data processing tools
- Strong debugging skills and ability xugodme to diagnose root causes across the stack
- Experience with data migration, ETL processes, or handling large datasets
- Experience with REST API endpoints
- Familiarity with SQL and GraphQL
- Comfortable wearing developer and operational data hats
- C1-C2 Spanish and B2 English proficiency
