The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Accountant to join our U.S. Controlling & Accounting team. This position is fully remote, with the employee expected to work primarily from their remote location (from Madrid, Sevilla, or Barcelona).

The role will require periodic in-person attendance at our Madrid, Spain headquarters, generally on a monthly basis, to collaborate with the broader Controlling & Accounting team, particularly during key month-end close periods. The frequency and timing of office attendance will be communicated in advance based on business needs and close-cycle requirements.

The Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy, timeliness,and efficiency of key financial processes. The role will be actively involved in month-end close, accountreconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, audit preparation, and continuous improvement ofaccounting processes.
- Prepare and complete bank reconciliations for 15+ bank accounts




- Perform balance-sheet account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Manage and record daily accounting transactions
- Monitor expense tracking and support expense-related accounting activities
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and management reporting
- Support internal and external audit preparation, including gathering documentation and responding to information requests
- Provide administrative support to the Controlling & Accounting team as needed
- Support month-end and year-end close activities while meeting established deadlines
- Track tax and legal expenses and maintain appropriate supporting documentation
