Technical Asset Manager Velto Renewables (Velto), a subsidiary of La Caisse (Caisse de Dépôt et Placement de Québec), is looking for a Technical Asset Manager to join its team in Madrid, Spain, and work closely with the Head of Asset Management and the rest of the AM Team. Velto Renewables is a renewable energy independent power producer with a long-term asset ownership strategy.
Established in 2020 and backed by the global investment group La Caisse, Velto is committed to contributing to the decarbonisation of the general economy and the European energy transition by investing in and developing an international and multi-technology portfolio of renewable energy projects.
The company holds 607 MW of operational solar PV and wind assets in Spain and France, manages a 25% stake in the 630 MW London Array offshore wind farm in the UK, is developing over 1 GW of projects across Iberia, and pursues an international growth strategy that establishes a local presence in the countries and regions where it operates.



The Technical Asset Manager will perform overall technical asset management activities for a large PV operating portfolio located in Spain.
He/she will be instrumental for the optimization of energy production and revenues and the identification of potential cost reduction initiatives, and the availability, transparency, and actionable use of information.
Responsibilities
General technical asset management of the PV and wind assets. Monitor the Service Provider's activity (Asset Management & O&M;) to ensure the timely fulfilment of obligations and compliance with the contractual terms (responsible for the day to day relationship); Monitor third parties services providers (insurance, market agent, etc.) to ensure the timely fulfilment of obligations and compliance with the contractual terms; Communication with key stakeholders (market players, O&M;, land, government and other suppliers or services providers); Become familiar with the contracts for each SPV to understa
