We're hiring: German-Speaking Tender Technician At IO Skateparks , we continue to grow internationally and are looking for a Tender Technician with a background in construction, public procurement and/or Architecture to join our team in Barcelona and support us in identifying and preparing public tenders, particularly in German-speaking markets.
Location: Barcelona, Spain Work model: Hybrid – office & remote Position: Part-time, with adaptable working hours We are a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, builders and action sports enthusiasts, specialised in the design and construction of skateparks, pumptracks and urban sports facilities. We develop tailor-made projects from concept to execution across Europe.
Main responsibilities: You will support our team throughout the tendering process, from identifying relevant opportunities to preparing and submitting the required technical and administrative documentation. Your role will include:
- Supporting price control and cost tracking for projects and tenders.
- Searching for and contacting suppliers and/or probable subcontractors according to project requirements.
- Searching for relevant public tenders and new project opportunities, particularly in German-speaking markets.
- Preparing, organising and submitting the required documentation for tender applications.
- Managing and submitting the required documentation for awarded projects.
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring that all required documentation is submitted correctly.
- Coordinating with our technical and administrative teams to collect the information and documents required for each tender or project.
- Supporting communication and clarification processes related to tenders when required. Profile we are looking for:
- Background or studies in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, Urban Planning or a related technical field
- German C1–C2 or native level is mandatory
- Junior profiles are welcome
