Madrid (Hybrid – 50% Remote)

We're looking for a

Backend Software Engineer

to join an international team developing

mission-critical software solutions

for industrial automation.

What you'll do
Design, develop and maintain high-quality backend applications based on

Java microservices .
Build scalable, event-driven architectures using technologies such as

Kafka, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ .
Work with

PostgreSQL

and

Oracle

databases.
Ensure code quality through automated testing and agile development practices.
Collaborate with multicultural teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

✅ What we're looking for
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong experience with

Java (JDK 8+/17) .
Hands-on experience with

microservices





and distributed architectures.
Experience with

Kafka, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ .
Knowledge of

PostgreSQL ,

Oracle ,

Docker

and

Linux .
Experience with automated testing and

Scrum

methodologies.
Fluent English.

⭐ Nice to have
OpenShift, AWS or Azure.
Reactive or functional programming.
JDK 17 experience.
