PURPOSE OF CONTRACT:

Collaborator on activities related to the project/agreement stated.

TASKS TO BE PERFORMED

The objective of this contract is collaboration in research that will be carried out within the framework of the project “Language Technologies from a green angle: low-resource domains” (LATCHING-UDC).

The hired person will contribute to one of the main lines of research of the LYS group of the University of A Coruña. The hired person must collaborate on the project's outstanding research tasks:



the development of syntactic analysis algorithms that operate under conditions of limited computational
resources; the development of incremental natural language processing models that process linguistic inputs strictly from left to right; and the integration of project results—specifically, the injection of knowledge in the form of syntax and incremental models—into end-user applications.

JUSTIFICATION OF THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT

The contract responds to the need for a person to contribute an approach based on computational grammars to the lines of research of the LATCHING project. We estimate that these tasks can be carried out in an estimated time of nine months.
