Location: Groveside School, Reading, RG2 7AY
Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday to Friday
Salary: £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata) plus a Welcome Bonus of £1000*
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

As our school continues to flourish, you will play a key role in shaping an engaging PE curriculum and a vibrant extra‑curricular offer that inspires every pupil to participate, achieve and thrive.
What you will be doing




- Plan and deliver high‑quality PE lessons and physical development activities that inspire participation and progress
- Build a vibrant extra‑curricular offer including clubs, wellbeing sessions, team games and enrichment opportunities
- Use assessment to monitor, record and report on pupil progress, celebrating success and supporting every learner
- Adapt PE and physical activity to ensure pupils with SEND and SEMH needs can participate safely and meaningfully
- Create safe, stimulating learning environments, organising equipment, spaces and groupings effectively
- Promote physical activity as a tool for confidence, regulation, teamwork and personal development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, LSAs, care staff and families to ensure consistent support for pupils
- Contribute to curriculum development, school improvement priorities and the wider life of the school
