About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Writer to contribute to their medical affairs and communications efforts, based remotely but supporting operations in the Queenstown region. This role is essential for translating complex scientific and clinical data into clear, concise, and accurate documents for various audiences. You will be responsible for authoring a range of documents, including clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, manuscripts, and educational materials. Your ability to communicate scientific information effectively is paramount to the success of this position and the dissemination of critical medical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Author high-quality medical documents, including clinical study reports (CSRs), protocols, Investigator's Brochures (IBs), and regulatory submission documents.
- Develop manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and prepare abstracts and posters for scientific conferences.
- Create and revise essential regulatory documents such as briefing documents and responses to health authority queries.




- Ensure all written materials are scientifically accurate, adhere to relevant guidelines (e.g., ICH, CONSORT), and meet project timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with medical experts, statisticians, and other stakeholders to gather information and review drafts.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our client's therapeutic areas and product portfolios.

Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a life science discipline, or a medical degree (MD, PharmD).
- Proven experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Thorough understanding of clinical research processes, statistical principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software and documentation
