About this role:
iShares & Wealth EMEA is the distribution business providing cross-border solutions to intermediaries who serve the full spectrum of privately-owned Wealth, but also to Asset Managers and Asset Owners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Our clients are predominantly institutional investors like pension funds, general and multi-national banks, wealth managers and insurers. Product proposition comprises a broad range of both actively managed and index pooled investment vehicles.

As a Vice President on the iShares & Wealth Iberia team, you will work as part of a team of client-facing relationship management professionals with a deep understanding of industry trends, client needs, and BlackRock’s capabilities across investment management, risk, and advisory. You will be a key point of contact for external clients and will work across various internal partner teams with the goal of delivering the firm to the Wealth and Asset Manager client segment in Spain and across all segments in Portugal.





The main responsibilities for this role are two pronged; proactive widening and deepening of client relationships to become a trusted partner whilst increasing share of wallet.
- Contribute to the sales coverage across all segments and strategy development in Portugal, and Wealth clients and Asset Managers in Spain
- Develop strong knowledge about the BlackRock product range and solutions
- Contribution to the delivery of annual target of net new assets and revenues, generated from existing and new clients
- Identify new opportunities for existing clients
- Think creatively about and develop new usages for ETFs, Index Mutual Funds and active strategies like alternative products
- Consistently provide local market intelligence to help guide new product development initiatives and current product enhancement efforts
