About Palteca:
Palteca is a Spanish learning app that embraces the complexities of the learning process and backs every lesson, course and decision on the neuroscience behind language acquisition. We don't make fake promises about becoming fluent fast and effortlessly, instead, we build effective, engaging and immersive Spanish lessons where every single step is carefully designed to move students toward communicating in Spanish in real life.

We're a fast-growing remote startup based in Spain. We use Comprehensible Input as our core methodology, teaching through guided exposure and carefully designed practice, without ever resorting to direct translation. We believe human interaction is at the heart of language acquisition, and so we deliver meaningful content through native speakers, video lessons, and conversation-driven activities.

Since launching in 2024, we've grown quickly: reaching over 100000 users, and achieved the 5th most downloaded education app in the US App Store and maintained in the top ten for several weeks. Throughout these years we've become a stable,



growing company, shown by the ever-increasing community that we've built. Our users tell us they learned more with Palteca in a few days than with other apps in weeks. We take that seriously, and we want to keep earning it.

The Role:
We're looking for a (Senior) Learning Designer who believes, genuinely, methodologically, that language is acquired, not studied. You'll work alongside the Head of Learning Design, Product, Engineering, and Growth to build the courses, activities, and learning resources that will take us to the next level.

This is a creative, hands-on role.
