OVERVIEW

The Group Reservations Manager leads and oversees all group reservation operations within the Groups & Conventions department. This role serves as the strategic point of contact for Meeting Planners and Convention Services Managers, ensuring flawless execution of all reservation-related components of group business. The manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining contractual compliance, optimizing room block performance, and fostering strong internal and external relationships.

HOW IT'S DONE
- Lead the end-to-end management of group room blocks, ensuring accuracy, compliance with contractual terms, and timely execution of all reservation requirements.
- Establish and maintain operational standards, workflows, and performance expectations for the Group Reservations team.




- Oversee the integrity of data entry and system usage across platforms such as Opera and Marsha
- Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Convention Services, Front Office, and other operational departments to ensure seamless group execution.
- Lead and participate in key meetings including pre-conferences, group fact sheet reviews, pick-up analyses, and post-event evaluations.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Meeting Planners, ensuring proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Manage VIP arrangements, upgrades, special requests, and rooming list requirements with precision and attention to detail with Conventions Department.
- Monitor pick-up trends, room block performance and identify risks and opportunities.
- Recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction
