Senior Infrastructure Engineer - London
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our Information Services department and play a key role in delivering and supporting critical IT infrastructure across the British Museum.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established infrastructure professional with strong networking expertise who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with operational oversight. Working within a small and collaborative technology team, you will help ensure the stability, security and performance of our network services, supporting colleagues across the organisation to deliver important public and charitable outcomes. In addition, you will provide functional leadership across infrastructure operations, taking ownership of service quality, monitoring workloads, overseeing ticket queues and driving issues through to resolution.

We are looking for a technically strong, self-motivated professional who combines excellent networking expertise with a proactive, solutions-focused and collaborative approach.
You will bring:
- Significant experience supporting and managing enterprise network infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco switching, including DNAC/ISE.
- Some knowledge of Active Directory/Azure AD, Azure Paas/IaaS and Windows Server.
