JOB DESCRIPTION

The Biostatistics Unit at the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) provides afull range of statistical services to IGTP campus researchers and external public andprivate organisations. We support researchers throughout the entire research process,from study design and planning to data analysis and interpretation of results. Ourmission is to improve the quality and rigour of biomedical research by providing expertbiostatistical guidance.



Our team consists of six highly qualified statisticians andmathematicians with extensive experience in health research.
We are seeking a Data Manager to support the development, administration, andquality management of research data systems using REDCap (Research Electronic DataCapture) across the IGTP campus. The successful candidate will work closely withinvestigators, statisticians, project managers, and research teams to design andmaintain REDCap databases, establish data-management procedures, monitor dataquality, and prepare datasets for analysis and reporting.
The role will also contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement ofdata-management practices, promote the effective use of REDCap, and supportresearch teams throughout the data lifecycle.
