Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Accountant Expert to work on a contract basis. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing month-end close processes. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of accounts and variance analysis.
• Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of general ledger entries, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits to ensure compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and accounting operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
