As a senior engineer, you'll own the delivery of complex mobile features, technical migrations and AI-assisted development practices within your squad. Working across iOS, Android, or both, you'll help create modern, native mobile experiences on our evolving platform whilst providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers and acting as a key quality gate for design and engineering decisions. This is a hands-on role focused on building new products and capabilities, not just maintaining legacy applications, working within our integral engineering organisation. The role offers a clear progression path into Staff Engineer or Lead Engineer positions
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of complex mobile features,
technical migrations, and platform improvements across iOS, Android, or both.
- Drive high-quality engineering practices, including architecture, performance, security, accessibility, and maintainable code standards.
- Lead the effective use of AI agents and orchestration workflows for feature delivery, testing, and problem-solving, applying sound judgement on when and how to use AI tools while sharing best practices across the team.
- Build and enhance automated testing, CI/CD, and release processes to ensure reliable and high-performing mobile applications.
- Mentor and support engineers within the squad, providing technical guidance and acting as a key reviewer for designs and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers across teams to shape mobile standards, share best practices, and influence technical direction.
