What You'll Do:We are looking for a talented and motivated tax accountant to join our tax accountant team. The position is based in Barcelona and reports to the GL Tax team leader in Paris.Validation of all tax calculations for entities located in Europe and MEA with the assistance of local tax advisorsValidation of all tax entries in SAP and all tax paymentsPerforming reconciliations and analyses of the tax balance sheet and P&L; accountsTax audits: Assisting with local tax audits and responding to inquiries from tax authoritiesParticipation in monitoring tax regulatory compliance changesSOX controls: Verifying all SOX tax control documentationTax documentation: Preparing of tax documentation required by third, internal parties and tax authoritiesImprovement of accounting and financial processes, by particularly through the optimization of tools and the automation of low-value-added tasksWho You Are:At least 3 years of experience in an international tax accounting departmentHighly organized,
autonomous, rigorous, communication skillsFluent in English (Spanish and French will be a plus but not mandatory)Demonstrated attention to detail with proven accuracyKnowledge of SAP, SAP Brim, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Oracle (will be a plus but not mandatory)We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above.
