We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with product-centric​ mindset to join our mission-driven team.
As a vital contributor throughout the entire feature lifecycle, you will partner closely with Product Owner, Tech Lead and Designers to translate user needs into the seamless, scalable backend systems that empower our users from day one.This is a hybrid role based in Berlin or Barcelona.
We value in-person collaboration and expect our employees to spend at least 8 days per month in the office.Do discovery, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment.Manage individual project priorities and deliverables whilst working in a team who enjoy knowledge sharing sessions.Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (note: experience of Kotlin would be a plus).Knowledge of both relational (preferably Postgres) and non-relational databases.Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS.Claude, GitHub Copilot)
