As an Area Manager at a Delivery Station, this role sits at the centre of last-mile logistics, ensuring orders are fulfilled, dispatched, and delivered to customers on time and to the highest standard.
The position involves leading a team focused on safety, efficiency, and quality, while driving continuous improvement projects across the operation.Key job responsibilities-Build, oversee, and champion a culture of safety and associate wellbeing across all shifts-Analyse operational performance data and implement changes to maintain consistently high quality and productivity standards-Lead and manage process improvement projects to streamline workflows and optimise Delivery Station output-Evaluate shift performance against business objectives and define clear action plans to strengthen operational excellence-Collaborate with fellow managers to standardise best practices and ensure consistency across all shifts-Act as a role model and mentor to new and developing managers within the teamA day in the lifeNo two days are the same in a Delivery Station.
