Location : Madrid Office

The Senior Accounting Lead is responsible for leading and executing the day-to-day accounting activities of the Spanish entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, and a robust control environment. The role acts as the accounting subject matter expert, supporting month-end,



quarter-end and year-end close processes, statutory reporting, audits, and accounting-related projects. The Senior Accountant Lead partners closely with local and Group Finance teams to ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance with corporate policies.

Key Responsabilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Coordinate and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group reporting timelines.
- Ensure the preparation of statutory and management financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Act as the subject matter expert on IFRS, providing guidance on complex accounting matters and new business initiatives.
- Prepare and document technical accounting assessments and accounting position papers.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
