About the Role
Our client is searching for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join their culinary team in Queenstown. This role is integral to the success of the kitchen, responsible for a specific section and ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. You will work under the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef, contributing to a dynamic and creative kitchen environment. The idóneo candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent knife skills, and a dedication to culinary excellence and consistency, playing a key part in delivering an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes for a specific section of the kitchen according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently, meeting quality and presentation requirements.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards within your section of the kitchen.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering of ingredients.




- Contribute to menu development and specials where appropriate.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef with significant responsibility.
- Strong technical skills in various cooking methods and cuisine types.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
