Vestas MED is responsible for developing Vestas' wind energy business across Southern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Within the Service Commercial Department, the focus is on building solid customer partnerships and supporting service business growth through contract management, lifecycle solutions, and value-added services that enhance turbine performance, reliability, and long-term customer satisfaction.
The Claims & Dispute Resolution Specialist manages the negotiation and resolution of complex claims and disputes, ensuring results that support the company’s commercial, contractual, and financial interests.
Additionally, the role oversees the end-to-end management of the full claim's portfolio, coordinating stakeholders across the organization, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complex claim discussions with customers, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable commercial results, using contractual, technical,
and financial assessments to guide resolution strategies
- Oversee the end-to-end claims portfolio, ensuring cases are prioritized effectively based on risk, financial exposure, and strategic importance
- Act as the main point of contact for escalated disputes, coordinating negotiation strategies with Legal, Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Quality teams
- Track and move claim resolution activities forward, ensuring deadlines, action plans, and contractual commitments are strictly met
- Systematically identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and financial risks associated with ongoing and potential disputes
- Develop formal settlement proposals and deliver regular reports to senior management regarding claim status, financial exposure, and recovery performance
