We are seeking a Clinical Researcher to join the Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Group at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). This group is dedicated to advancing clinical and translational research in neurodegenerative disorders, with a particular focus on Parkinson’s disease and related movement disorders. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, contributing to both clinical trials and observational studies—such as the VHIP cohort—while supporting patient-focused research aimed at improving diagnosis, risk stratification, and quality of life through innovative clinical and laboratory approaches
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Give support to the clinical and basic research teams in active Research Projects, mainly VHIP cohort:
- Participate as sub-investigator in Movement Disorders clinical trials.
- Biosamples collection and management.
- Stratification of Risk of PD in carriers of mutations linked to PD.
- Perform laboratory assays such as ELISA, HLPC, etc.




- Assist the research team in the tasks necessary for the development of studies.
- Manage trials patients’ agendas (treatment, medical procedure, in patient hospitalisation).
- Write projects in collaboration with the physician and technician teams that might help the improvement of the quality of life of patients with Neurodegenerative Diseases

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Holds a degree in Medicine
- Completion of specialist training (MIR)
- Additional or specialised training in Neurology (Residency in Neurology completed by the Spanish Minister of Health program, desireable)
- Fluency in Spanish and English (professional proficiency[Enter here additional required education and qualifications]

Desirable:
- Additional or specialised training in Movement Disorders
- Computer user level (Office package, SAP, etc)
