For one of our clients based in Seville, Spain, we are looking for a Data Scientist to provide support for thematic analyses on territorial, urban and rural development data.



The main focus will be on analysing sustainable development, innovation, entrepreneurship, business dynamics, and other relevant demographic, economic, and labour market trends at subnational level in urban and rural areas across the EU.
Relying on its extensive experience in providing high-quality territorial analysis solutions and information systems, the client is currently responsible for implementing various activities and projects with a focus on territorial, urban and rural data and analyses. A core part of this work involves using detailed microdata to carry out statistical and econometric analyses, in particular those required for the implementation of the EU Preparatory Action "Startup Village Forum and Rural Innovation Valleys". This requires assembling and analysing highly granular territorial data, enabling results to be disaggregated by territorial unit, degree of urbanisation, rural/urban typology
