About the Position
To strengthen our technical team at NAHwärmetechnologie & Anlagentechnik S.L. (NAHTEC Spain), we are looking for a Design Engineer (m/f/d) to support the planning and implementation of modern biogas and biomethane plants.
In this position, you will work closely with our experienced engineers and project managers on international plant engineering projects – from technical development and detailed engineering through to construction and commissioning.
The main focus of the role will be on the detailed engineering and technical coordination of our plants.
Your Responsibilities
- Technical planning and detailed engineering of biogas and biomethane plants
- Preparation, modification and review of plant layouts, technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Support in the preparation and further development of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;)
- Planning and coordination of plant equipment, piping systems and technical interfaces
- Coordination of engineering activities across process engineering, civil works, electrical engineering and automation
- Preparation and review of technical specifications, data sheets and equipment/material lists
- Technical coordination with suppliers, engineering companies and project partners
- Review and integration of supplier documentation into the overall plant design
- Technical support for procurement and project management
- Continuous optimisation of existing plant concepts with regard to technical feasibility, costs and operation
- Support of the project team during construction and commissioning
Your Profile
- University degree in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Plant Engineering or a comparable discipline
- Initial professional experience in the engineering or design of industrial, energy, environmental or plant engineer
