The Role and responsibilities




The IOSCO General Secretariat is seeking an Accountant to support the work of the Finance Department to help accelerate the department’s digital transformation.
Reporting to the Head of Finance primarily and under the overall supervision of the Head of Operations, the selected candidate will strengthen the Finance department of the Organization, and contribute to the organisation’s ongoing development in the face of new challenges posed by a rapidly changing environment.

The Finance Department team covers work across several critical areas, including:
- Accounting;
- Invoicing;
- Payroll;
- Treasury;
- Compliance and Controlling;
- Internal and External Audit.

The tasks assigned to the successful candidate would typically include:
- Performing day-to-day bookkeeping activities within the ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Following Spanish GAAP and with IFRS knowledge.
