Senior Java Software Engineer

international project for a leading Swiss private banking organization currently undergoing a major digital transformation.

The Project
You will join an international engineering team responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining business-critical applications used across a integral banking environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale solutions, complex business processes and modern application development practices within a highly collaborative Agile environment.

You will collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, analysts and business stakeholders, contributing to the design and development of solutions that support key business operations.

Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns
Experience working with relational databases, especially Oracle
Strong SQL knowledge and ability to write efficient queries
Experience working in Linux environments
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON and XML
Experience with Git and modern software development practices
Understanding of software architecture and application lifecycle management
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe or similar)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
