The Parliament is seeking one (1) Summits Executive/Manager to join its Brussels-based Events team starting as soon as possible in October 2026 (CDI).

In this role, you will lead on the conceptualisation and delivery of The Parliament special projects and events – leveraging your experience and ideas to innovate media events. You will work with high-level policymakers, an editorial team, and senior clients, gaining insights into how a media business operates.

THE ROLE

Content production:

- Work with the Director of Programmes to plan and draft flagship activities that are aligned with current affairs and market needs
- Organise research calls and meetings with leading stakeholders to identify most prominent topics in EU affairs
- Prepare business plans including competitors’ landscape and industry trends
- Lead on concept development – content and formats

Stakeholder management:

- Research and recruit speakers and act as their main POC (pre/post event comms, briefing, on-site liaison)
- Main point of contact for the client on all event-related questions
- Work proactively with the sales team to ensure information is shared efficiently to enhance clients’ satisfaction
- Prepare marketing briefs and support preparation of marketing creatives, content for emails, print & online materials
- Lead on related internal teams communications and timely updates (sales, marketing, editorial, production etc.)

Logistics:

- Update all relevant documents: websites, apps, trackers, etc.
- Together with the production manager, accountable for look & feel of the event, ensuring the guest experience is first-class

WHAT YOU’LL NEED





- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with a demonstrated track record in events and project management
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Proficient in liaising with and coordinating a high number of stakeholders
- Independent and very pro-active, with a strong can-do attitude and eager to innovate
- Must stay on top of the politics and policies of the European Union
- Keen attention to detail and high-level client skills
- Written and verbal fluency in English is required; knowledge of other EU languages is appreciated

Starting date: October 2026 (adaptable) with a contract of indeterminate duration. The position is based in Brussels with office time required as well as occasional travel. Work outside office hours (7 to 9 and 18 to 22) is occasionally required and compensated.
