We are looking to recruit a Payroll & HR Officer for a company based in Brussels (Woluwe).
- The HR Officer will be part of the HR & Finance Department. Principally the HR Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the payroll, for efficiently processing employee data, keeping company policies up-to-date, and assisting in the hiring process. With exceptional organizational skills and familiarity with HR topics will contribute to the smooth running of all HR operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and promoting effective communication within the organization. uman Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Administration:
o Ensuring the day-to-day management of all the administrative operations ( management and follow-up of the HR mailbox, answer to all the questions, topics, issues related to the employee and follow-up,…)
o ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format
• Payroll: conducting the monthly payroll, maintaining employee database & prepare reports
• Legal: assist HR Manager in ensuring legal compliance of company rules & policies as well as creating and distributing guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
• Compensation &Benefits;: operational management, follow up and administration of:
o Car fleet o Insurances o pension plans o FIP
o All the extra-legal advantages (smart phone, laptop, headset, …
• Recruitment: assist and support the HR Manager as well as coordinate & follow-up recruitment process
• Onboarding:/Offboarding Responsible for successful on boarding and off boarding of employees, new hire training organization, …
• Learning & Development: coordinate (administration & follow-up) employee development plans and performance management.
• Health & Safety: maintain workplace standards and looks after the health, safety employees at work
• Support: provide information and support to the managers on HR topics (policies and procedure)
The idóneo candidate has the following profile:
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Hard HR (payroll, compensation & benefits, Legal) as well as in Soft HR and/or in a similar position
• Master the full scope of Payroll Management
• Good knowledge about Labor law & Social Law
• Aptitude in overseeing employee benefits
• First experience in recruitment is an asset
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information • Ability to build team morale and promote company culture.
• Hands-on, energetic, goal-oriented, pro-active with determination and perseverance
• Natural interpersonal and communication skills
• Dynamic, driven and energetic team player thriving and problem solving
• Fluent in French and Dutch mandatory
• Excellent knowledge of MS Windows Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
