The role

Instagram and Tik

Tok are blank canvases at Remote

Pass, and we want someone who's itching to fill them.

Up to now we've mostly cross-posted Linked

In content over; we're done with that.

We want native, scroll-stopping, made-for-the-platform video, and we want the person behind it to be the face of it.

You'll report to our Social & Content lead, who'll shape strategy with you, but the execution, the ideas, the trends, the camera time, is all yours.

Editing is covered by our in-house multimedia designer, so you're not stuck behind a timeline; you're out finding the story, filming it, and being in it.

It's a fully remote role, which means part of the job is figuring out how to make great content happen without an office full of people to grab.

Tok, this is your shot to build something from zero and watch it take off.

What you'll do

- Launch and grow Instagram and Tik

Tok from scratch, shaping strategy with our Social & Content lead and owning execution day-to-day




- Film native short-form content and appear on camera yourself, think street interviews, trend-jacks, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Live and breathe trends, sounds, and formats, and turn them into ideas that actually fit Remote

Pass
- Pull teammates and other departments into content, and get creative sourcing footage in a remote-first company
- Come up with static post ideas as well as video, and brief them clearly to our design team
- Jump in on quick, easy Linked

In posts (like event coverage) alongside your Instagram/Tik

Tok work
- Track performance and use it to sharpen what you make next
- Be a face of Remote

Pass as we expand into new markets

Requirements

What we're looking for

- 2-5 years creating content for Instagram and/or Tik

Tok, in-house, agency, freelance, or as a creator
- A strong portfolio or reel that shows you on camera and shows you get what makes short-form actually work, this is the single most important thing we'll look at
- Genuinely plugged into Instagram/Tik

Tok trends and culture
- Comfortable and natural on camera, and confident directing others who may be less comfortable than you
- A self-starter who drives ideas forward, with the follow-through to not let details slip
- Resourceful and persuasive, able to make content happen remotely without a studio or office full of people on tap
- Great at taking and acting on feedback
- Experience creating for international or multi-market audiences
