At Qaracter, we're looking for a Java Backend Developer to join a technology team working on banking and financial projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend applications and microservices, working closely with technical and functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java backend applications and microservices.




Build scalable and robust solutions using Java and Spring technologies.
Work with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Stream to develop enterprise applications.
Design and implement REST and SOAP APIs following best practices and software design patterns.
Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka and contribute to Event-Driven Architecture initiatives.
Work with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
Develop and execute unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito, as well as support API testing with Postman.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from technical analysis and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
Collaborate with other developers, architects, functional analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Work with CI/CD tools and practices, including Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
