About the Role

The QA Systems Specialist is responsible for execution and implementation of key microbiology and food safety programs for the local factory.



You will possess an in-depth knowledge of HACCP, environmental monitoring program and food safety. You will be also able to show an ability to identify food safety risks in a food production environment, conduct and prioritize risk analysis, and be able to work with production and management employees to drive root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action. This position will also support GFSI requirements as well as multiple customer food safety requirements for the site and be able to plan and direct activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of food safety standards for industrial processes, materials and products. Perform other Food Safety related duties as requested.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Develop, implement, and manage food safety policies and procedures for the plant, as based on general input
- Conduct periodic audits and inspections of food handling
