Overview
An excellent opportunity for a Global Data Steward to join an international SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. You will support global end to end business processes and related Master Data topics, governing and coordinating Master Data across the transformation project. This is a hybrid contract role based in or near Barcelona, with onsite presence required every other week.
Key Responsibilities
Support global end to end business processes and related Master Data topics
Govern and coordinate Master Data within the S/4HANA transformation project
Support Data Migration, validation and reconciliation activities
Analyse data-related defects and identify root causes
Support the resolution of migration and testing issues
Ensure alignment with global data standards and governance principles




Support local countries in adopting integral process and data standards
Coordinate between Business Data Owners, global teams and local stakeholders
Support Change Management activities throughout the transformation
Requirements
Very good end to end Business Process knowledge
In-depth Master Data expertise
Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA transformation experience
Very good experience in Data Migration, validation and reconciliation
Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality and harmonization
Experience in defect analysis and root cause identification
Good technical understanding of SAP and data-related issues
Strong international stakeholder and Change Management experience

Contract Details
Duration: 6 months+ (likely to extend longer)
Working pattern: Onsite in Barcelona every other week, remote otherwise
