Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Hardware Engineer, Robotics Lab to work on a full-time basis. The role involves designing, developing, and testing robotic hardware systems for advanced automation projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and refine hardware components for next-generation robotics applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop robotic hardware systems, including sensors, actuators, and control interfaces.
• Collaborate with software teams to integrate hardware with embedded systems and robotics control algorithms.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hardware prototypes to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
• Optimize mechanical and electrical designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Document technical specifications, test results, and design iterations for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware design and development for robotic systems.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent for mechanical design.
• Experience with PCB design, layout, and prototyping using tools like Altium or KiCad.
• Strong knowledge of sensor integration, motor control, and power systems for robotic applications.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, and hardware debugging tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D; environment with iterative design cycles.
