is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and highly motivated

Business and Mathematics Teacher .

The successful candidate

will teach both subjects

in English , following the

British education system . The post holder will have strong subject knowledge, a genuine enthusiasm for Business and Mathematics, and experience of preparing pupils for IGCSE and A Level examinations. They will plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons; promote analytical, problem-solving, financial literacy and independent-learning skills; and support every pupil to achieve their individual potential.

Role-Specific Duties

Teach Business and Mathematics in English throughout the Secondary School (Key Stages 3–5), including IGCSE and A Level where required.

Plan coherent schemes of learning that align with the British education system, relevant examination specifications and school policies.

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that develop mathematical fluency, reasoning, problem solving, commercial awareness,



enterprise and analytical thinking.

Prepare pupils effectively for external examinations, including IGCSE, AS and A Level, as applicable.

Promote Business and Mathematics through curricular, cross-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including enrichment, competitions, enterprise initiatives or revision support.

Create a stimulating, inclusive and well-resourced learning environment, making appropriate use of digital and technological resources.

Monitor pupil progress, identify gaps in learning and implement appropriate intervention and challenge.

Contribute actively to the development and improvement of the Business and Mathematics departments and their examination outcomes.

Support colleagues, where appropriate, with subject-specific knowledge, resources and effective teaching approaches.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Essential

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd or equivalent) and Qualif
