VHIR is seeking a Clinical Researcher specialised in Paediatric Stem Cell Transplant to join the Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders Research Group.

Main responsibilities and duties:
- Participation in recruitment and trial-related activities of patients with haematological malignancies in research projects in the field of Stem Cell Transplantation & advanced therapy medicines.
- Communication with sponsors.
- Participation in the development of academic clinical trials, our personalised medicine programme and research projects led by the unit in the field of paediatric SCT.
- The post holder will be able to conduct academic research in the field of Paediatric SCT, with the possibility of conducting a doctorate/PhD degree

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Degree in Medicine
- Specialist training in Paediatrics (via MIR or equivalent)

Desirable:
- Good command of English

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 2-years of experience in Paediatric Haematology & Oncology.

Desirable:
- Training in biomedical research, good clinical practice,



stem cell transplantation, palliative care, advanced life support.
- Experience in Research in Paediatric Haematology, Oncology & Stem Cell Transplantation.
- Clinical experience in Paediatric Stem Cell Transplantation and Advanced Therapies.
- Good communication skills and good team player.
- Knowledge of medical English.
- Experience in Clinical Trials in Paediatric Haematology & Oncology, particularly early phase.

Labour conditions:
- Working hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week).
- Starting date: As soon as possible.
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
