Main responsibilities and duties:
- Data entry and data management for clinical trials in paediatric haematology and oncology.
- Assistance to trial principal investigators (paediatric haematology & oncology consultants) with day-to-day conduct of clinical trials at the Paediatric Haematology and Oncology Division of Vall d’Hebron Hospital.
- Communication with sponsors.
- Assisting the research team with sample processing for early and late phase trials.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- University degree in biomedical sciences.
- Fluency in Catalan & Spanish.
- Intermediate/high knowledge of English language.
Desirable:
- Fluency in Englis.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Experience managing databases in childhood cancer clinical research.
- Experience with data entry and query resolution in childhood cancer clinical research projects or clinical trials.
- Training in Good Clinical Practice / ICH (less than 2 years ago).
Desirable:
- Experience with data management or data entry in paediatric clinical trials or paediatric clinical research.
- Experience with industry-sponsored trials.
- Experience with biological samples processing and management.
- Experience in patient registries.
- Good communication skills and good team player.
Labour conditions:
- Working hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week).
- Starting date: As soon as possible.
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
- Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities.
