The Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) offers vacant position for a Research Technician specialised in Psychology in the Group of Psychiatry, Mental Health and Addiction.

Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordination and active participation in substance abuse projects.
- To undertake literature searches, write papers and present results at different scientific meetings.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate trial-related activities.

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Medical Degree (equivalent to MBBS/MD) or Degree in Psychology.
- Additional or specialised training in substance abuse management.
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (professional proficiency).

Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification in clinical research (Master’s or PhD).

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Organisational ability to manage the different parts of a research project.
- At least 1 year’ experience working in a research environment.
- Experience in neuropsychology.
- Experience in substance abuse treatment.

Desirable:




- Experience in clinical evaluation (psychiatry/neurology).
- Scientific publications.
- Presentations at scientific conferences.

Labour conditions:
- Working hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week).
- Starting date: As soon as possible.
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
- Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities.
