About the Role

Key Responsibilities Include
- Develop, implement, and manage food safety policies and procedures for the plant, as based on general input




- Conduct periodic audits and inspections of food handling and storage practices in the plant.
- Ensure compliance of the plant operations with food safety regulations, including HACCP, and applicable regulatory standards
- Act as master trainer at the plant on food safety practices and regulations. Train staff on GMP practices, HACCP, pest management protocols, and hygiene standards
- Investigate food safety trends & incidents and implement corrective actions as necessary. Lead cross-functional teams to improve food safety practices and culture within the organization
- Conduct regular food safety audits. Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to identify and mitigate food safety risks
- Regular review of EMP & sanitation results and implement timely action for non-conforming results
- Monitor and Maintain HACCP, CCP, OPrP sheets and communicate issues
