Amentum is seeking an Aquatics Manager to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Aquatics Manager will be responsible for the overall management, administration, and supervision of aquatics programs supporting MWR operations. This position ensures the safe, efficient, and effective operation of aquatic facilities while delivering high quality recreational, instructional, and fitness programs that meet the needs of the installation.
Job Responsibilities





Manage the daily operations of aquatic facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
Assist the Program Manager with administrative, operational, and management functions associated with aquatics programs and facilities.
Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate a variety of aquatic, fitness, instructional, and community recreation programs.
Coordinate recurring and special aquatic events, instructional classes, fitness activities, and joint community programs.
Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to ensure quality customer service and operational excellence.
Develop and implement comprehensive aquatics programming that meets the recreational needs of the installation.
Ensure compliance with applicable MWR policies, safety regulations, and operating procedures.
