The mission of the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) is to achieve the highest level of scientific and technological excellence in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Its research lines focus on the newly-discovered physical and chemical properties that arise from the behaviour of matter at the nanoscale. ICN2 has been awarded with the Severo Ochoa Center of Excellence distinction during three consecutive periods (2014-2018, 2018-2022 and 2023-2026). ICN2 comprises 20 Research Groups, 7 Technical Development and Support Units and Facilities, and 2 Research Platforms, covering different areas of nanoscience and nanotechnology.

Job Title: Documentalist (Internal Promotion)

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
The person, who will join the institute's management area and, within the framework of the digitization of its services, will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Maintenance and further development of the digital document repository based on Athento software,



including the digitization of institutional documents currently in physical archives.
- Incorporating ViaFirma into the archiving processes
- Maintenance of the research publication repository in iMarina, including advanced curation of data.
- Uploading the information in the DDD (UAB open access repository)
- Enhancement of documents with specific metadata, defined by the digitization strategy
- Generation of document management protocols
- Review and update of the central physical files
- Classification of official documentation and destruction of obsolete documentation
- Creation of a virtual library for ICN2's publications and documents
- Data management and curation per institutional reports (power BI and other software).
- Technical support for the ICN2 Manager including the digitalisation of institutional documents.

Requeriments:
- Education:
Master in "Biblioteconomía" or similar
- Knowledge
