Join our engineering team as a Senior Firmware Tech Lead, where you’ll design and develop the embedded platform for our next generation of safety products. This role is critical to delivering innovative, self-contained smart components and systems that provide protection and control functionality to electrical systems.



The position will be based out of our San Sebastian and will be the first role of a firmware development team based out of this site.

About the job:
- Embedded Platform Development: Lead the design, development, and qualification of embedded firmware for safety-critical components and systems using 32-bit ARM microcontrollers- Firmware Architecture: Establish robust firmware architectures for both bare-metal and RTOS-based (FreeRTOS or equivalent) platforms- Testing & Validation: Develop and execute unit-level and system-level tests; collaborate with QA engineers to build automated, reliable test suites- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of firmware into the overall product architecture- Documentation: Generate comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, to facilitate communication and knowledge transfer within
