Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) | Madrid, Spain | HYBRID | Senior Scientific Computing Engineer | Full-timeWhat you'll do:Shape the roadmap for scientific computing at the centre and drive it forwardOwn and evolve our HPC cluster (Slurm): scheduling, monitoring, capacity planning, user supportBuild out our GPU / AI infrastructure as the centre's ML workloads growWork with researchers to turn their analyses into robust, reproducible pipelines and toolsOptional: co-author research papersWhat we're looking for:Several years running Linux HPC environments in production (Slurm or similar)Comfortable with automation (Ansible, Python), containers (Apptainer/Docker) and workflow managers (Nextflow, Snakemake or similar)Someone who wants to set direction, not just keep the lights onBonus: Ceph, Kubernetes, GPU stacks, a bioinformatics backgroundSpanish not required
