About the Role The Head of Mechanical Engineering is responsible for leading the structural and mechanical engineering of bound4blue’s eSAIL systems, ensuring robust, certifiable, and scalable product design. This role owns the development of structural and mechanical subsystems,



from conceptual design and engineering calculations to detailed design, validation, and integration into the final product. It ensures that all mechanical aspects of the product meet performance, safety, quality, and certification requirements. The position leads the Mechanical & Structural Engineering team and plays a key role in aligning engineering activities with Automation & Control, Aerodynamics, Project Management, and Operations. It is a central role in ensuring that product design decisions translate into reliable, manufacturable, and installable solutions. Responsibilities Lead and develop the Mechanical & Structural Engineering team, ensuring high performance, motivation, and continuous capability growth. Own the design, calculation, and development of structural and mechanical components of the eSAIL system. Ensure technical integrity of mechanical and structural subsystems across the full product lifecycle.
